Women Who Carry Trauma Deserve Healing Solutions
We need to kill the word coaching when speaking about women’s healing. “Women who carry trauma deserve healing solutions that are soft, spiritual, and rooted in their feminine divine – not coaching.”
I hate coaching. Not the vocation but I hate the word ‘coach’. It’s so masculine, harsh, and limiting to a women’s essence and it definitely gives off dictatorship energy. Women do not need coaches, they’ve had that all their lives through society, family pressures, and certain forms of oppression. They’re done with coaching, they are crying for expression, expansion, and spiritual alignment.
Women who carry childhood and sexual trauma have earned their roses
We’re black. We’re professionals and we experienced deep childhood tor sexual trauma that we’ve had to carry into our womanhood. I personally have been on my own personal healing journey for 15 years since I started Rising Roses.
I’ve been doing this work for myself for18 years now – I’m not new to this, I’m true to this! I’m living through the work I teach and that’s my skin in the game. Rising Roses was born from that place. I wanted to heal my own wounds and I wanted to take you along with me!
Here’s what I found during my 18-year-old healing journey about coaching women
- The healing ‘language’ is difficult for black women to heal – the new-age jargon, terms, and wording adds an extra layer that keeps these women stuck in their pain.
- The ‘coaching’ modality is masculine and most women who carry unhealed sexual or childhood trauma have a broken relationship with masculine energy. I teach this extensively in my courses and masterclasses.
- There are too many ‘gurus’ who understand the issues that black women carry around their trauma but fail to give them solutions that work for them.
- Trauma needs to be addressed in context and not in isolation. Most coaches who do not share the lived experience of the black woman slow down the healing process because they fail to take into account the nuances that come into play, for each woman.
We were made to be the underdogs, but the trauma was an invitation to rise like beautiful roses!
